
Whatever you are a canned food buyer, importer or supplier, you should know and follow the local law timely, right? Then your orders will going on well.
We received the new supplier requirements from our Canadian client last month. We appreciated the relative information that the customer provided.
They told us:

“Please pay close attention to the below requirement, these documents are extremely important, without them our company will not comply with the new regulations. The documents must be provided on time and QA manager must be in copy on all the documents.
No balance payments will be made until we have all the necessary documents and we will refuse shipments.
Following the new Canadian Consumer Safety and protection regulations that came into effect at the beginning of this new year, the following documentation is required before the product arrives in Canada:
-Letter of guarantee proving that the product is safe for consumption.
-HACCP or other Certification;
-Kosher Certification if applicable;
-Proof that the product is going through a metal detector or X-Ray.
-Product Specification;
-Declaration of allergens;
-Proof of Audit (BRC/HACCP/IFS Certification,…) ;
-Organic Certification if applicable;
-Description and identification of ≠ lot;
-MSDS if applicable ;
-Certificate of microbiological analysis if applicable.
The documents must be identified by the batch number of the sent product. “
